Velocity Football is a full-time educational academy that combines Football and sport business with academia. Velocity hosts apprenticeships, BTEC and Alternative Provision.
Based at the home of National League club, Oxford City FC in Marston, the courses are the only ones of their kind based in Oxford. Our programmes offer students the unique chance to join Oxford City FC’s renowned Football pathway, develop life skills and attain qualifications.
Learning Support Officer (Velocity Football)
This is a rewarding hybrid role that combines learner support and football coaching.
In this role you will support the personal development of all learners on the Alternative Provision (AP) programme. You will work closely with The Velocity Alternative Provision Manager and Head of Football to deliver high standards of sport enrichment, safeguarding and pastoral support. You will play a vital role in promoting the Velocity Values of Inclusion, Development and Opportunity. Also, you will promote a culture of respectful relationships, healthy lifestyle and aspiration.
