A large presentation screen has been installed in one of our specialist football classrooms to enhance our student’s learning experience and development.
The 75” screen was provided thanks to Velocity Football’s partnership with global technology giant Vestel Visual Solutions and Theale-based IT provider Westcoast.
Our tutors and coaching staff will use the screen to inform students on our male and female programmes by analysing on-field performances from training plus National League and Tactic League fixtures.
Velocity Football director Justin Merritt said the screen adds to the already exceptional educational value students receive on the programmes.
He added: “We are extremely grateful to both Vestel Visual Solutions and Westcoast for providing the screen which will be an excellent resource for our students and tutors.
“The screen further adds to the fantastic teaching environment at Velocity and help students break down their on-field performances by analysing matches with great attention to detail.”
Chris Moore, B2B sales manager at Vestel Visual Solutions, said: “We are delighted to partner with Velocity and provide a large screen that will help each student reach their full potential in the classroom.
“As a leading global manufacturer of professional display solutions, we believe in the power of community and providing young people with a platform to benefit from the latest technology. We hope Velocity’s tutors and students enjoy making use of the new facility.”
Richard Carr, business manager at Westcoast, added: “We have been impressed with what opportunities Velocity Football provides to post-GCSE students wishing to pursue a career in sport.
“Westcoast shares many similar core values with Velocity and we look forward to following students’ progress through the academic year.”
